In this tutorial we add jQuery Lightbox to the Gallery, run and test the final result. Lightbox is a jQuery plugin that displays an expanded image when a thumbnail is clicked. There are many variations on the theme and you may prefer some other variant. Substituting a different javascript library should be straight-forward and will likely only require minimal changes to the description here.

This tutorial is intended to illustrate how to build an Orchard Module to support extended gallery features. There are already several gallery modules for Orchard and I ideas and some code from all of them. So why build yet another gallery? Because I needed a combination of features that none of the existing galleries provided, and because I found the existing galleries did too much and were too difficult to extend.
